About the 2007 season:
20 different species were caught during the fishing season. Blue Shark were plentiful with the season starting mid July. The biggest landed was near 100 lbs. There were lots of large Shark hooked but not landed.  Tope was also plentiful with the biggest landed at 48 lbs. Pollock and Cod were caught up to 13 lbs. Ling between 18 and 20 lbs. Ray were up to 15 lbs. Bull Huss were scarce from the shore and boat. A 15ft Conger was landed but weight was not recorded. Gurnard were more plentiful than usual with anglers catching 4 at a time on many occasions. Dolphins kept Anglers amused surrounding the boats on fishing trips. We have never seen so many dolphins together as during this season.
